| FOUNDATION COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AND TEACHER GRANT AWARDS Spring 2013 | The Foundation will award college scholarships to a number of graduating BCHS seniors at the end of this school year, through an application process conducted by the Foundation's Scholarship Committee with assistance from the BCHS Guidance Center. The Foundation will award grants to selected BCHS teachers at the end of this school year, so that they may better meet the educational needs of their students in the academic year 2013-2014. Grants are awarded based on merit and available funds. Application forms are available in the "FORMS" section below. |

TEACHERS APPRECIATION BREAKFAST Summer 2013 |
The Foundation holds a Teachers Appreciation Breakfast at the beginning of each school year to honor and express our appreciation to the teachers, the administration, and the custodial staff as they embark on a new school year. Watch this space for further detalis. |

EDUCATOR HALL OF FAME 
Mrs. Julia Davis |
At the 12th. Annual Educator Hall of Fame Gala held on February 7, 2013, the Foundation inducted Mrs. Julia Jackson Davis and Mrs. Martha Parrish Park into the Educator Hall of Fame. Mrs. Davis has a BS in Mathematics and Home Economics from Winthrop College, and a MS in Statistics and Algebra from Clemson University. She taught mathematics at Brookland-Cayce High School from 1984 until her retirement in 2009. She currently teaches Elementary and Intermediate Algebra at Midlands Technical College. More Mrs. Park has a BA in English from Georgia Teachers College, and a MAT in English from the University of South Carolina. She taught English at Brookland-Cayce High School from 1964 until her retirement in 1992.
